Potato Chips with Herbs
Ingredients
- Baking potatoes
- Fresh herbs of your choice (parsley, rosemary, sage)
- Butter
- Salt
Method
- Slice the potatoes very thinly using a mandoline and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Brush the slices with melted butter.
- Arrange fresh herbs between two slices and lightly press them together.
- Brush both sides with melted butter and place the slices on a baking tray lined with silpats.
- Cover with another silpat and an empty tray on top to apply pressure during baking.
- Bake at 190°C (380°F) for about 18 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Adjust the time based on the potato type, slice thickness, and oven used.
- Sprinkle with salt and serve.
